Walker Ave Social Media Advertising Campaign, Promotional Materials, Press Release, & Search Engine Optimization (2021)
Walker Ave was a full length studio album I wrote and recorded as part of a research fellowship with the Rhodes Institute for Regional Studies (see Discography for more details). I designed and utilized the following promotional materials for the project, successfully leading to over 65,000 album streams and nearly a 300% hike in engagement (measured through profile visits and post views) on Instagram and Twitter. I also utilized paid advertisements on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to attain these numbers. After the album's release, I worked with ToughSEO to develop a press release (Music With A Motive Is Making A Young Singer An All-Time Favorite) for 86 newspapers and major news sites, 186 industry news sites, 104 regional and local news site, 27 market minute finance feeds, 32 financial content feeds, and other social media sites. This marketing campaign reached 179 site visitors in the first day, and nearly 6,000 in the first 30 days.
